On January 26, 2006, Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo and Yonsei University President Chung Chang-young signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Yonsei University's Sinchon main school to create a "Yonsei Internationalization Complex" that includes undergraduate universities and complex research complexes in Songdo International City in the Incheon Free Economic Zone.
