On February 6, 2006, Ahn Sang-soo, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, and representatives of the Portman Consortium signed a memorandum of understanding to promote the 6.8 District 1.92 million pyeong complex development project in the Songdo District of the Incheon Free Economic Zone.
